24 carat gold-plated and handmade in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, these gorgeous gold pieces are limited to 50 pairs and come in a beautiful presentation box with insert card. A perfect gift for the spitfire and aviation history fan.

Characterised by its graceful curves, elliptical wings and the sound of its powerful Rolls Royce engine, the Spitfire has remained a British icon since its heroic efforts in the Battle of Britain in 1940.  The Spitfire entered service with No. 19 Squadron at Duxford in August 1938. Production was slow at first, but by September 1940 it was in service with 18 RAF squadrons.
