Eat less bread print
Produced in 1917 at the height of the German U-boat campaign, which threatened to bring Britain to her knees, Eat Less Bread was a blunt demand for the public to exercise moderation in consumption of dwindling grain stocks.
Ironically, the simplicity of the poster shares characteristics with German pre-war and wartime posters, but exhibits much less design finesse.
