This posters was printed and distributed during the First World War. It shows silhouettes of German and British planes and airships. The wording describes what you should do in the event of spotting an enemy plane. It also acted as an awareness tool in familiarising the public with British planes so as to not be alarmed when one is spotted. The First World War saw the first use of aerial bombing.
