This print features Supermarine Spitfire Mk Is of No. 19 Squadron, autumn 1938. 19 squadron were the first squadron equipped with the Spitfire, flying out of Duxford. The Spitfire earned its fame during the Battle of Britain and was the only allied fighter in production during the entire war.
