Spitfire aluminium model 21cm
This Supermarine Spitfire aluminium model is a reminder of the Battle of Britain in the summer of 1940 and Duxford airfield from where Spitfires first flew. Spitfires remained in service until 1961, well into the jet age, by which time more than 20,000 had been produced.
