The Avro Lancaster was a heavy four-engine British bomber aircraft from World War II, built by A.V.Roe (Avro) and used from 1942 onward. Alongside the Handley Page Halifax, the Lancaster was the basic heavy bomber of the British Royal Air Force during World War II. The Lancaster is considered the most successful British heavy bomber. This edition is based on the dambusters used in Operation Chastise.
The machine has unique markings of the 617th Bomber Squadron. The model itself has rotating propellers, folding landing gear and movable ailerons. The cockpit has a reproduced interior, in which the three included crew figures can be placed. Under the plane you can attach the famous "Bouncing Bomb" designed to destroy large-sized targets, such as water dams and submarine shelters.
