Pale blue quilted wash bag with allover Indian block printed design of Bengal tigers with an internal contrasting pink heart print patterned waterproof lining.

Inspired by the commissioned display on the Quayside of IWM North, Chila Burman’s large-scale ‘neon’ tiger sculpture installation delicately illustrates iconic symbols in both Indian culture and Burman’s own personal history. The tiger represents strength and survival whilst also speaking to Burman’s family history; her father’s ice cream van was decorated with a tiger.

Supplier makes use of leftover fabrics and block prints own fabric to order to minimise waste. For each quilt made a tree is planted as part of the supplier's sustainability efforts"
