VE Day Coin

The opposite side features HM King George VI, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Elizabeth, Princess Margaret, and Prime Minister Winston Churchill on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, London, also on VE Day.

The Second World War was a global conflict involving nearly all the world's nations, with the Allies and Axis powers mobilising all resources in pursuit of total war. VE Day, 8 May 1945, marked the end of nearly six years of devastating conflict, bringing an end to immense suffering and loss.
