Coaster (Churchill War Rooms)

This branch-specific souvenir black melamine coaster features artwork inspired by the Churchill War Rooms sign and a silhouette of Winston Churchill in his signature golden yellow color. Designed by IWM, this coaster is a tribute to one of London's most iconic historical sites.

Historical Significance: During the Second World War, a group of basement offices in Whitehall served as the center of Britain’s war effort. Known as the Cabinet War Rooms, this complex was occupied by leading government ministers, military strategists, and Prime Minister Winston Churchill. It housed the underground nerve center where the British government directed the war and now includes the award-winning Churchill Museum. The Churchill War Rooms remain one of London’s must-see attractions.
