The Avro Lancaster MkX, was the most successful British heavy bomber used by the Royal Air Force in the Second World War. The Avro Lancaster MkX KB889 based at IWM Duxford was one of 430 Lancaster's built by the Victory Aircraft Company in Malton, Canada in 1944.
