Women took on many roles during the Second World War, including the position of air transport pilots, munitions workers and mechanics as the need for women in the workplace grew.
The Future is Female bespoke design represents this movement that paved the way for women of today. It is inspired by an original ATS recruitment poster and uses an IWM archive image of women pilots gazing almost as if they are looking to the future.
