Public warning magnet
Fridge magnet of First World War educational poster displaying silhouettes of German and British planes and airships
The wording describes what you should do in the event of spotting an enemy plane. The original poster acted as an awareness tool in familiarising the public with British planes so as to not be alarmed when one is spotted. The First World War saw the first use of aerial bombing.
