D-Day mug

This exclusively designed mug incorporates the Imperial War Museums's wrap around design, including facts and figures from Operation Overlord or 'D-Day'.

On 6th June 1944, Operation ‘Overlord’ began and conducted the largest naval, air and land operation in history. Over 18,000 Allied paratroopers were dropped into the invasion area to provide tactical support for infantry divisions on the beaches. Allied air forces flew over 14,000 sorties in support of the landings. Five assault beaches were targeted -Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. The objective, to liberate north-west Europe from German occupation.
