Blue Satin Tea Party Cup Decoration (London)
Pale blue satin tea cup hanging decoration with gold trim. Inspired by a British staple, a cup of tea with a classic tea party design.
This product was designed in London and handmade in India by a fairtrade charity that supports women through providing local work at home. The decoration features zari embroidery which was originally used to decorate military dress uniform, and this traditional technique has been re-purposed to produce this.
The London range focuses on the spirit of London and features elements of famous London landmarks and icons. The construction of this decoration reflects the industrious spirit of the home front during the Second World War.
