Map Room Clock Replica (Churchill War Rooms)

Expected back in stock December 2024

The Churchill War Rooms operated from the start of the war in 1939 to its end in 1945.

This is where the Prime Minister, his War Cabinet and members of his inner circle sheltered from the bombs, where they ate and slept, and where his Map Room staff plotted the war.

This accurate and detailed Map Room Clock is an authentic replica of the one housed in the Churchill War Rooms. The replica is fitted with a quartz movement so as to provide the accuracy and reliability that was not available at the time the original item was made. Made from brass and pine, sourced from sustainable forests.

The final picture, where the clock is attached to a wooden beam, shows the original clock in place in the Churchill War Rooms.

Clock face measures 20cm across, clock measures 26cm across.

Requires x1 AA battery.
