In the early days of the Second World War 1.5 million children were evacuated to the countryside, in most cases without their parents. Each child was given an evacuee tag as a means of identification.
This replica evacuee tag is an excellent resource for play or for the classroom.
The Evacuee label is approximately 14 x 7cm.
