This blended Scotch whisky is inspired by the legendary wartime bomber, the Avro Lancaster.

The whisky is a blend of grain and aged single malts. Aromas of toffee and citrus give way to gentle notes of dried fruit and barley, finishing with a smooth, malty richness.

The Avro Lancaster played a pivotal role in the Allied air campaign, most famously during the Dambusters Raid of 1943. The design draws directly from Lancaster KB889, one of 430 aircraft produced by Victory Aircraft in Malton, Ontario.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Toffee and citrus, with subtle hints of Speyside pear-drops and a touch of Islay saltiness
Palate: Notes of dried fruit and barley
Finish: Smooth, malty, and well-rounded
Character: Full-bodied and sophisticated, with a gentle trace of nuttiness and sweet barley
